Built a dedicated pentesting lab using VirtualBox and intentionally vulnerable VMs. Running Kali Linux, Metasploitable, and DVWA. Here’s how to set up your own ethical hacking playground.

What You Need

• VirtualBox or VMware
• Kali Linux ISO
• Metasploitable 2
• DVWA (Damn Vulnerable Web Application)

Setup Process

1. Install VirtualBox
2. Create isolated network
3. Deploy vulnerable VMs
4. Install Kali Linux as attacking machine
5. Practice, practice, practice
